DIVERSIFY YOUR SKILLSET
Based on the major you choose, you’ll learn how to use the following programs:
AREAS OF STUDY
IT Support: learn to maintain,troubleshoot and repair desktop and laptop computer hardware, operating systems and network devices through hands-on activities in operational computer environments.
Graphic Design: utilize graphic software and create logos, flyers, business cards, and much more
Interactive Media Design: merge text, graphics, sound, animation, and movies for presentations. Apply human motion and sound to computer-generated characters.
Microsoft Network Administration: independently study CompTIA Network + working toward becoming a Network Administrator or Cyber Security Professional.
Television Production: storyboard, script write, produce, direct, operate cameras, edit, and experience studio and control rooms to learn specialized broadcasting and video production skills.
Computer Programming: Students will learn to develop applications using the Python programming language. Students will use this knowledge to apply for internships with partner companies. During internships students will learn a second programming language of their choice.
COLLEGE CREDIT AND CERTIFICATIONS
12 credit hours are available in electronic media, and computer web technology to transfer toward a degree at Vincennes University
Over nine certifications are available from CompTIA, including CompTIA A+ , CompTIA Network + and Adobe
