FWCS Students Explore Careers at Inaugural Job Fair
Fort Wayne Community Schools, in partnership with the Gateway Coalition, will host a Manufacturing/Skills Trade Internship and Job Fair for high school juniors and seniors from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, March 17, at the Family and Community Engagement Center, 230 E. Douglas Ave.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from 25 local manufacturing and skilled trades companies in the Fort Wayne area. FWCS' College and Career Readiness program invited business owners, managers and others to the event to talk to students about the future of manufacturing and skills trades careers, as well as share information about internships and job opportunities that are available to students even while they are still in high school.
