The Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of School Trustees approved a principal appointment for Study Elementary at the Sept. 25, 2017, Board meeting.

Elizabeth Kleber, Study Elementary Principal
Elizabeth Kleber is the new principal at Study Elementary after serving as assistant principal at St. Joseph Central Elementary since 2015. She started her education career in the Garrett-Keyser-Butler Community School District in 1985 as a math and science teacher before joining FWCS in 1986 as a teacher at Jefferson Middle School, where she also taught math and science. In 2000, she took an administrative position at St. Vincent de Paul School and returned to FWCS in 2015.

With nearly 30,000 students, Fort Wayne Community Schools is one of the largest school districts in Indiana. FWCS proudly allows families to choose any of its 50 schools through its successful school-choice program creating diversity in each school, including some with more than 75 languages spoken. FWCS offers seven magnet schools focusing on areas such as science and math, communication, fine arts or Montessori at the elementary and middle school level. In high school, students can choose from the prestigious International Baccalaureate program, Project Lead the Way or New Tech Academy as well as other rigorous academic and specialty training programs.
