Fort Wayne Community Schools’ five high schools will welcome members of the Class of 2023 and their parents to freshman orientation this month.

Each high school invites the students and their parents to the high school building to learn about transitioning from middle school to high school; how to register for ninth-grade classes; and how the Indiana Graduation Pathways will affect current eighth-graders.

The Class of 2023 is the first class to fully experience the Graduation Pathways, which requires students to meet core academic class requirements, pass a standardized test and complete a work-based or project-based program.
