Fort Wayne Community Schools will hold two information sessions for parents interested in learning more about full-day kindergarten: - Tuesday, July 31, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at South Side High School Auditorium, 3601 S. Calhoun St. - Thursday, Aug. 2, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Snider High School Auditorium, 4600 Fairlawn Pass. Full-day kindergarten teachers and elementary directors will demonstrate the structure and benefits of the full-day program and answer questions about standards, schedules, transportation and other related issues. Information brochures about full-day kindergarten also will be available in all elementary schools beginning July 30. With nearly 30,000 students, Fort Wayne Community Schools is one of the largest school districts in Indiana.
