Parents go back to school, too
Going back to school isn't just for the students in Fort Wayne Community Schools. At the Back-to-school nights, parents at every school will have a chance to see where their students learn and play. Parents will have the opportunity to tour the schools, see their children's classrooms and meeting their children's teachers.
Many schools also combine the evening with an ice cream social, picnic, PTA event, flower show or other event. The elementary schools' flower shows are the results of students' hard work over the summer. In the spring, the Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department provides seed and materials for the planting project.
Below is a schedule of Back-to-school nights. For more information about your child's back-to-school night, contact your school.
