The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus will be visiting Fort Wayne Community Schools next week. Ambassador Clown will visit several schools to help motivate the students to read and encourage interest in science beyond the classroom. At some schools, the clowns will read "If I Ran the Circus" by Dr. Seuss. At others, they will perform juggling and balancing acts to teach students about gravity and physics. Some schools will have both demonstrations. The following is a schedule of when the clowns will be in FWCS buildings: Washington Elementary, 1015 W. Washington Blvd., 9 a.m., Monday, Oct. 8 Pleasant Center Elementary, 2323 Pleasant Center Road, 9:30 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9 Arlington Elementary, 8118 St. Joe Center Road, 1:20 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9 Shambaugh Elementary, 5320 Rebecca Dr., 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10

With nearly 30,000 students, Fort Wayne Community Schools is one of the largest school districts in Indiana.
