Bunche Montessori Early Childhood Center will celebrate its 20th anniversary of becoming a Montessori magnet this year. To commemorate the milestone, the school is selling wall tiles to create a Legacy Wall inside the school in honor of all the students, parents, staff and community members who have been a part of Bunche over the last 20 years. Those interested can create a 6-inch by 6-inch tile of their own design to be a part of the mural. Tiles are $15 each. The school will also sell tiles with the school logo for $15 for families and others to display in their own homes. To participate in the tile project, contact the school at 467-4790 to obtain a design packet. Designs could include artwork, family names or business logos. Local companies are invited to be a part of the mural. Designs must be submitted to the school by Monday, Feb. 21. Tiles are expected to arrive about six weeks after they are ordered. The Legacy Wall is expected to be installed before the 2011-12 school year.
