FWCS Approves New Administrators
The Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of School Trustees on Monday, Nov. 12, approved the following administrative changes:
Lindsay Martin, Fairfield Elementary School Lindsay Martin joined FWCS in 2011 as the assistant principal at Lincoln Elementary School. In August, she moved to assistant principal at Haley Elementary before taking over as principal at Fairfield last month. At Fairfield, she replaces Jeff Cline who resigned from the position. Martin began her career in education in South Adams in 2006. She also worked in East Noble before joining FWCS.
Andrew Kapocius, Maintenance & Operations Manager Andrew Kapocius joins FWCS as the manager of Maintenance & Operations, replacing Pat Casey, who retired earlier this month. Kapocius began his professional career as a journeyman HVAC specialist with Raytheon in 1985. In 2001, he became the director of facilities and support services at Parkview North and Parkview Ortho Hospitals. After spending a year in Illinois, he returned to Fort Wayne as the chief support officer and vice president of facilities and support services for Crossroad Child & Family Services, where he worked from 2005-2009. In 2010, he became the director of engineering for Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Fort Wayne.
