Fifteen area Zumba instructors will lead participants for two hours of dancing, sweating and fun in support of Fort Wayne Community Schools’ Study Connection on Saturday, Jan. 19.

Zumba is a combination of Latin dancing with a cardiovascular workout. From 1-3 p.m. at North Side High School, the instructors will lead the participants, with each instructor introducing their own flair to the exercise. No previous Zumba experience is needed to participate.

Registration is $20 at the door. The first 200 participants will receive a zippered cloth clutch. Door prizes will also be awarded. The event is sponsored by A Party Apart, Douglass Law Firm and Summit City Fitness.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Study Connection, Fort Wayne Community Schools' after-school tutoring program, which partners students with employees at businesses and organizations throughout the community. To learn more, visit
