We are proud of the quality of our programs. If after attending the first class, you are not satisfied, please contact our office within three business days of the first class and receive an NC credit for the course fee.

Emergency/Weather School Closing & Postponement Policy

All day and evening classes are canceled if FWCS cancels regular school day classes due to emergency/weather. Should weather become threatening during the afternoon and evening hours, FWCS may cancel all evening activities and this will include Neighborhood Connection classes. In these cases, we may not have the opportunity to notify you of an evening class cancellation. Please watch or listen to local news stations if you are concerned, or you may call the Neighborhood Connection office, or check the status at Fortwayneschools.org. Occasionally, the scheduling of school-related activities will necessitate to postponement of certain classes. Whenever possible, all canceled classes and activities will be rescheduled.

Transfers Credits Refunds

If you cannot attend a course as planned and contact our office three business days in advance, you may receive a Neighborhood Connection class credit. Your credit(s) may be used any time in the current semester or before the end of the following semester. If you contact NC on the day of the class or after the class has occurred, you are not entitled to a class credit or transfer of any kind. NC reserves the right to change class locations, schedules, fees, instructors when necessary, including postponements due to inclement weather or emergencies. If you contact NC less than ten business days of the program start date, you will be refunded 50% of the course fee.
