Online registration for the 2022-23 school year is now open for all Fort Wayne Community Schools students. This year, online registration includes the option to pay fees online, which will eliminate the need for parents to participate in in-person registration at most schools in July.

Families can use the myFWCS parent portal (www.fortwayneschools.org/myfwcs) to register current students who are returning for the 2022-23 school year as well as those who are new to the district. The secure portal is compatible with mobile devices. Address verification, photo ID and other documents can be uploaded to myFWCS through a desktop or mobile device to complete registration.

In-person registration will be held at all schools from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, July 29, and noon-7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1. In-person registration is required for those who do not complete online registration or who need additional assistance. Some schools may have additional activities or information for students and parents at in-person registration. Schools with additional activities will share the information directly with parents.

Families registering for the first time or those needing additional assistance are also welcome to visit the Family and Community Engagement Center, 230 E. Douglas Ave. While there, students can receive free vision and hearing screenings and vaccinations. Daily hours at the FACE Center are 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Questions should be directed to the FACE Center at 260.467.2120.

With nearly 30,000 students, Fort Wayne Community Schools is one of the largest school districts in Indiana.
