Mark Bailey -Principal
Principal Mark Bailey begins his 31st year as a FWCS employee. He begins his 6th year at Kekionga Middle School, serving as Principal. Mr. Bailey joined FWCS as a mathematics teacher and football coach at South Side High School in 1992. He was named Head Football Coach in 1999 for the Archers. In 2005 Mr. Bailey moved into administration as Assistant Principal at Snider High School for two years. In 2007 Mr. Bailey returned to South Side High School as assistant principal. In 2011 Mr. Bailey was named Principal of Lane Middle School where he led a turnaround effort leading the struggling school to an "A" school in just three short years. In 2017 Mr. Bailey moved to Kekionga Middle School as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. This year is his 4th year as  Kekionga Middle School as Principal. Mr. Bailey is excited to be leading the Warrior Tribe in 2022-2023!. 

Trisha Brooks - Assistant Principal and Athletic Director

Assistant Principal and Athletic Director Trisha Brooks begins her 7th year as an FWCS employee. Mrs. Brooks begins her 3rd year as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Kekionga Middle School.    In 2008, Mrs. Brooks began her teaching career as a 6-12 English teacher at Churubusco Jr-Sr High School.  In 2016, she joined FWCS as an instructional coach at South Side High School; she also taught English 12 and Mass Media at South Side. In 2019, Mrs. Brooks moved into administration as an intern at Memorial Park Middle School.  Mrs. Brooks is delighted to be a part of the Warrior Tribe and looks forward to connecting with students, family, and community in the upcoming year.

Lashanda Gates - Counselor

School Counselor Lashanda Gates started her career Ivy Tech Community College for two years. She then moved to the high school level where she served for 17 years. Mrs. Gates joined FWCS in 2016 as the Guidance counselor at Kekionga Middle School. Mrs. Gates has been a part of every major school district in Fort Wayne, Indiana where she has gained the knowledge and experience to counsel and serve all students. Mrs. Gates is committed to all families and she values the importance of building relationships with students in guided them to success. Mrs. Gates is committed to the educational process and working with your student here at Kekionga Middle School.
Matthew Cochran - Administrative Intern

Mr. Cochran joins the Kekionga staff and begins his 24th year in education and 8th year in FWCS.  Mr. Cochran previously taught at Snider High School as a social studies teacher and head wrestling coach from 2018-2022.  Mr. Cochran also taught at Northrop High School and was an assistant football coach from 2015-2018.  Prior to coming to FWCS, Mr. Cochran taught social studies and coached wrestling and football in Greensburg Junior and Senior High Schools.  He has also taught in Charlotte, NC, Elkhart, and Muskegon, MI.  Mr. Cochran is excited to becoming a part of the Warrior tribe

Jennifer Wolford - Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant and Cheerleading Coach Jennifer Wolford begins her 6th year as an FWCS employee.  Ms. Wolford begins her 6th year with Kekionga as the Administrative Assistant.  She joined the Kekionga Tribe in 2017 as a classroom assistant her first three years; later serving as the School Improvement Liaison.  In 2018 Ms. Wolford was proudly given the opportunity as the head cheerleading coach.  Ms. Wolford is thrilled to be returning to the Kekionga Tribe!  She looks forward to reconnecting with previous Warriors and building positive relationships with the new incoming Warrior students, families, and staff!
