Construction update: summer means projects kick into high gear
The REPAIR FWCS Phase 2 Program will kick off a busy summer with major renovation work at five buildings, including the first phases of construction at Northrop High School, Lane Middle School and Washington Center Elementary School.
Renovation work is scheduled to be complete for the start of the 2018-19 school year at St. Joseph Central Elementary and Glenwood Park Elementary.

In addition to the major building renovation projects, air conditioning projects will be completed at Study Elementary and Bunche Early Childhood Center, as well as classroom security lockset installations at 21 buildings and the addition of a new secure vestibule entrance at North Side High School.
South Side High School will see replacement of bleachers in the main gymnasium and new flooring and bleachers in the auxiliary gymnasium.
As always, we continue to say Thank You Fort Wayne for the opportunity to improve our buildings to a level of modern standards and provide better learning environments for our students and staff!
